Perhaps the funniest GIB goof I've ever seen

This is in the free matchpoint game. I was not playing. Human player is South. Here's an example where human psychs a double and GIB goes horribly wrong in the play.



With 14 tricks off the top, GIB finesses the diamond 9 because it KNOWS South didn't double with 10 HCP. South HAD to have 11.

Well, the joke is "what do you call an 8-card suit". It says nothing about 9-card suits. :)

A funny play, but IMHO still not as good as the time the bot failed to lead an ace against 7NT, then got triple-squeezed. There was also a hand on Bridgewinners today where the bot ducked the 6 of a suit holding AKQJ9 over dummy's ten, and declarer won with the singleton 7.
