There were a couple of boards I was happy with from last night, I'm checking that I do indeed have a reason to be pleased.

I’d bid 3D. That shows 4 spades, 6+ diamonds and a good hand, but the diamonds are not AKQxxx. With AJxx x AKQxxx xx, a weaker hand, I’d bid 3N at imps.

agree. partner will know what sort of hand you have here. strong but not quite reverse with 6-4 shape. his 1Nt could be somewhere between 5-10 points. on personal level I do not think 3♦ should be forcing here: having some checkback by way of 2♣/2♦ after 1NT solves problem of other hands here.
