I am not going to discuss what is the optimal squeeze play for the overtrick. This is the coldest slam even that Mrs. Bridgewater, the little old lady who just play the game not to revoke, or the boss of Orttaman Foundation in "The Principle of Restricted Talent", would not blow.

However, GIB simply tried to be too cute, and eventually it backfired.

Excellent play by GIB East to return to hand with a club instead of a trump after playing to the K. A nice discovery play to find out if clubs were 6-0 and that it wouldn't be a good idea to try to set up clubs. And I can't fault the drawing of 2 more rounds of trump. So, overall, I have to blame GIB North for excellent defense to beat an unbeatable contract.

Possibly GIB is affected by climate change.
At about trick 9 I claimed - which GIB wisely refused but...

To be honest, you have to give GIB some credit, for the vision of execution of triple squeeze. Clearly, when it is running diamonds, it has triple squeeze "in mind".
In the 6-card ending, dummy leaves A,Jx,Axx, with hand QJx,K,Kx, and N cannot keep guards in 3 suits.
If N gives up club length, the last club in dummy would finish a classical criss-cross major squeeze.
If N gives up hearts, then K drops the Q, spade to A and J continues the black suit squeeze.
If N gives up spades, K is dropped and hand is good.

Unfortunately, perhaps my random yarborough discards ruins its plan and somehow it changes "mind".

I think it became emotionally attached to the A.

Good defense by GIBs. Lesser defenders might not have taken a single trick.
