Is BIB passing actually an option?

2 was alerted as limit raise or better.

My 3 bid was alerted by GIB as 4+ 5+ 21-HCP, 13-22 total points.

Ouch. That one makes no sense at all.

Could possibly be related to the more well-known one where GIB passes a game try. Something to do with thinking it's OK to pass without extras when in a known fit, even if that wasn't the fit you were meant to be in. Obviously a major bug.

fwiw, this was in the free weekend survivor game on Sunday.

every other GIB also passed in the above auction.

For opener rebids, GIB did not pass 3, it did not pass 3, it did not pass 4, it did pass 6.
