Not in the least homophobic, nor do I set any limits on the gender or sexuality of my bridge partners, unlike you.
I simply buy into the normal internet policy of keeping discussion groups on track: this one is about bridge. There are plenty of other sites for finding friends, or whatever.

If its about playing bridge - then partner wanted is appropriate - are you averse to straight bridge playing partners? You are the one who bought up your sexuality.

I’m curious. Do you really think that by announcing in a bridge forum that you’re “gay” makes you “special” in some way? What did you hope to accomplish by this announcement? I’m sure there are many good bridge players who are “gay”. I’m equally sure there are many good bridge players who are “straight”. So why not just say, “I’m looking for a really good bridge partner…..sexual preference not important.”?

Not just ridiculous but wrong on so many levels, not least that Op's thread was not deletede for breach of forum rules (and if it didn't breach the forum rules the rules need changing)
