We are all connected to each other biologically, to the Earth chemically, and to the rest of the universe atomically.
We're in the universe, and the universe is in us.

Actually, the Qx of hearts, which is so horrible for offence that I passed, is great on defence IF we show a 2-suiter. I'd expect to win the heart Q much of the time if I defend after showing a 2-suiter, but red v white, it's too easy to be going 500 or 800 against 420 or less.

I just saw this hand at a random table and wondered how many would succumb to "6-5 come alive". Clearly this hand has a bunch of negatives and it's probably worse if you are not playing specific two-suiters.

Probably not at these colors, though - I'd just hope the opponents bid to an uncontested suit game and then go down when things split badly.

Sorry I have to lol you here.
Actually it is a pretty common problem I see that people don't realize who will be on lead when considering lead implications of a certain bid. But RHO will be declaring hearts so I wouldn't worry about it here!
Of course LHO might play diamonds or NT and we might get a bad lead because of our overcall, it was just funny since you specifically said a heart contract

I agree that this should probably rule 2H out, but I think it might be advantageous to overcall 1S for this reason. They are likely to misguess hearts (if they have to guess the queen) after our bid, and will not guess we have 6 clubs or no diamonds after our overcall. Overall I think 1S will make them MISguess the play more than guess it which is unusual (and maybe I'm wrong).
